Our Post Trip began with TEL Silvia learning about this ancient place. First the Temple of Diana, followed by Roman Thermal Baths and the chilling Chapel of Bones, yes real ones. On a lighter note the huge nativity across the room evokes today's current structures. Now off to see the Cork. Unlike money, this stuff does grow on trees. At Pepe Aromas farm they remove the bark from the Cork Oak tree once every 10 years and process it into an amazing array of products. Not just wine bottle stoppers, how about furniture, clothing, wallets ( I got one), purses, dresses, and yes, underwear (no picture of this one). It's hard to make a living clipping bark once every 10 years, so they have ''branched out'' to growing Prickly Pear cactus in great quantity using it's harvest for an array of food, skin care and fabric products.
