Paula from Clearwater Tours took us to their private farm to see an extraordinary array of native wildlife. There were birds aplenty including several Albatros; a colony of Sealions with a number of cute frisky babies; and after a long wait, the star of the show, a couple of Hoiho, the rare Yellow-Eyed Penguins came in from .the surf to climb the hill to their rookery in the tall grass.
