I appreciate all your support and prayers for me while I am in Egypt.  This experience has been as challenging as it is rewarding and it means a lot to me to know that so many people are thinking about me and praying for me back in the US.  Some of you have asked about specific prayer requests, so I will try to keep an updated list of prayer concerns here.  Thank you again for all your support!

• I am thankful that my allergic reaction and resulting rash have healed enough that the itching is now tolerable, but it still hasn't completely gone away, so please continue to pray for my legs to heal completely.   

• As Karen and I continue to settle into our new roles in Alexandria, please pray that God will use us to enrich the lives of the children and teachers with whom we interact.

• As our term of service comes to an end, the other volunteers and I are trying to discern God's will for our future plans.  Please pray for all of us as we seek to determine the next steps in our lives. 
   
• Please pray for healing and renewed strength for my friend Tracy as she recovers from knee surgery.
  
• Please continue to pray for a peaceful solution to the complex problem in the Middle East and pray that Christians and Muslims all over the world would be able to coexist peacefully.
